Over 500 million people in the world use a smart phone every day, but still, some people have existed who want a dumb phone. Because they just want to make calls and sent text and that is enough for those. They prefer flip phones due to they think that the smartphone and its brothel of applications dominate our lives and rip our attention away from reality. And rest of the people are battery concerned and think that flip phones are even better than smartphones because they have a significantly better battery life as compared to the smartphones.
For those minorities, Samsung has been working on another clamshell phone yet again, touted as the Samsung W2018 Flip Phone. The upcoming phone will be powered by the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor. And the rumors also suggested that the phone will be equipped with 6 gigabytes of high-speed RAM along with 64 gigabytes of built-in storage capacity.
Aside from the memory and storage, some other specifications and features have also revealed by the certification authority. The reports claim that the flip phone will feature a 4.2-inch screen, which carries the support for 1080 × 1920 pixels resolution. And the handset will runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
On the camera front, the Samsung W2018 Flip Phone will come with a 12-megapixel rear camera, while on the front; there is a 5-megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies. To power the device, the company will add a 2,300mAh battery, which will provide you enough juice.
Previously, the W-series flip phone has been sold only in the certain Asian market, while now the rumors suggested that the coming W2018 phone will get a global launch. The rumor also revealed the pricing detail of the flip phone that it will retail for $2,000.
