On Tuesday, the Honor – Huawei sub-brand has officially announced multiple of devices, including Honor 6A smartphone, Honor Band A2 fitness tracker, and the Honor Play Tab 2 tablets. In this article, we talk about the tablet, which comes in two different sizes, including 8-inch and larger 9.6 inch. The company said that both tablet will be available for purchase on June 1 in China. There is no word, whether it will sell in other markets or not. Apart from its sizes, both tablets are quite identical in specs and features. Both tablets features IPS display along with a screen resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. For the processor, both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad core processor clocking at 1.4GHz along with Adreno 308 graphic processor. As far as the memory is concerned, they come with either a 2GB or 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of built-in storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot that can expand the storage capacity up to 128GB.
In terms of camera, both tablet sports a 5 megapixel rears cameras while on the front the devices, there is 2 megapixel front facing cameras. To power the tablets, the both tablets come with 4,800mAh batteries. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and a Micro USB port for charging and data transferring.
Lets comes to its pricing, the Honor Play Pad 2 8-inch variants with 2GB of RAM plus 32GB storage and support Wi-Fi only priced at CNY 799, for the 2GB RAM plus 32GB storage LTE model priced at CNY 999, and 3GB RAM along with 23GB LTE variant will price at 1,299. While the larger Honor Play Pad 2 9.6-inch variant with 2GB of RAM plus 32GB storage and support Wi-Fi only priced at CNY 999, for the 2GB RAM plus 32GB storage LTE model priced at CNY 1,299, and 3GB RAM along with 23GB LTE variant will price at 1,499.
